Designing a baby’s room is like decorating for any other room in the house. But, instead of plain white or wood furniture, decorate the new baby room with hand painted and upholstered furniture to make it as decorative, detailed, and coordinated as any other room in the house. Our store sells hand painted and upholstered furniture for a nursery that will go well with and accentuate the rest of the themed décor in the room of a baby girl or boy. A bassinet or a cradle is another place for the baby to sleep or rest, like an adult’s day bed. Our store carries cradles with hand painted designs, such as an enchanted forest, angels, and bluebirds. Bassinets, on the other hand, are like a large, hooded basket draped with cloth. We carry bassinets in several fabric colors to match the rest of the décor of the baby room. In addition, other unique, hand-painted baby furniture includes stepping stools, table and chair sets, and rocking chairs. High chairs are also hand painted baby furniture. Even when sitting at the table with adults, the baby can still sit in a decorative high chair. We carry wooden high chairs painted with rabbits and nursery rhyme characters. Hampers are hand painted, as well, with pictures and designs to match the rest of the baby room and its furniture. Patterns include pastel colored gingham, and pictures are similar to that of sheets and wall art – safari animals, sports, and sailboats. Once a baby becomes a toddler and learns to sit, he or she will enjoy a child chair. To coordinate with the décor for the rest of the room, we carry upholstered child chairs in a variety of patterned fabric to blend in with the decorations and furniture of the rest of a room for a baby boy or girl. In addition, the ottoman that comes with the upholstered chair has a removable top and can be used for toy storage. Also, once a child gets used to sitting and enjoying interactive toys, a rocking horse can be added to the room. Our store carries traditional wooden rocking horses, as well as other rocking animals, such as a duck, that are wooden or soft and upholstered for younger children.
