Orders can be placed online for the quickest service or you may call the number above to place a phone order. If you have any questions at all regarding a product you have seen on the site please do not hesitate to call us during our regular business hours: Mon-Fri 10-5, Saturdays 10-6 and Sundays 12-5. (We are closed Sundays in the summer). We love emails, too, so feel free to shoot us one day or night and we will get back to you quickly.

We aim to please, so at The Bean's Closet we believe in making all of our customers completely happy. If you find an item that we carry for a lower price on a competitors site please email customer service asap with the link to that site and product. A representative will get back to you within 24 hours. We will not only meet the price of that item, we are guaranteed to beat it. Also if there is an item that you are in need of that you do not see on our site PLEASE email us and we will do everything in our power to help you locate this item EVEN IF WE CANNOT GET IT FOR YOU. With a little instruction we can create custom items beyond your wildest dreams, so speak up and help us help you!

RETURNS/EXCHANGES:

Custom/Special Order Items: Special order or custom created gifts, room decor or personalized items of any kind, may not be returned or exchanged. All items that are categorized as custom or special order will be marked clearly on the product description page. In order to feel more comfortable about purchasing custom/non-returnable items online, we invite all our customers to feel free to speak with a Bean’s Closet consultant for a more thorough product description, as well as to answer all your questions regarding the purchase. Bean’s consultants can be reached at 203-703-2084. Special order items can only be canceled within 24 hours of order placement.

Non-custom Items: At The Bean’s Closet, we strive to provide our customers with the highest quality merchandise and an unparalleled high-end online shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your non-custom/non-special order item, you may return it for a refund, exchange or store credit--no questions asked! Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging, with tags in place. Please keep in mind that the majority of the products we sell are for newborns, infants, toddlers and young children, so our concern lies with keeping all of our merchandise sanitary for all of our customers. We will take special steps to ensure that all returned products are in perfect condition in order to be resold to another customer.

To return an item for a full refund (less shipping costs) to your credit card, items must be shipped back within 14 days of receipt (in original packaging). Please email us at customerservice@thebeanscloset.com and we will provide you with a return form and return shipping address. Please include provided return form and original invoice inside box. We will also gladly issue a store credit or exchange the item within 14 days of receipt as long as the item is returned in original packaging. Any items returned in less than perfect condition will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense. We encourage you to return all items using insured mail to protect for loss or damage. Refunds are issued upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.

In the unlikely event that you receive something damaged or incorrect, please contact customer service immediately so we can rectify the situation with as little hassle as possible and with no cost to you.

Sale items are not returnable.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

For your convenience we accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and thebeanscloset.com gift certificates.

Since many of The Bean’s Closet purchases are gifts we will not include the receipt with your order. Rather, a receipt is emailed to you immediately upon placing your order. Gifts returned without a receipt may be returned for store credit or exchange only.

GIFT CARD/WRAPPING:

We are happy to include a complimentary personalized gift card and gift wrapping, if your purchase is a gift. Please note that gift wrapping is not available for larger or odd-shaped items, or items shipped outside of our warehouse.

SHIPPING:

Shipping rates are based on the total sale prior to tax. Many times we run free shipping specials whereby if customers spend a certain dollar amount, shipping is free. This applies only to customers in the U.S. Customers outside the U.S. should contact customer service for shipping prices.

TAX:

The Bean's Closet collects sales tax in the states of NJ and CT.

LEAD TIMES:

Due to the fact that many of the products sold at The Bean's Closet are customized or special ordered the lead times provided are only estimates. We want to satisfy our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible and therefore make every effort to ensure that we meet or exceed these lead times. However in the event that a projected lead time is incorrect The Bean's Closet cannot be held accountable.

We cannot, however, be held liable for any accidents resulting in personal injury that involve any products sold at The Bean's Closet.
