THE STORY OF THE BEAN...

One of the best things about becoming a mother is the unspoken bond that exists between all of us, as we are bound to encounter many of the same experiences throughout our children’s first years of life. When I was pregnant there was nothing more valuable to me than the advice of my friends who were already moms. In fact, I don’t think I would have survived without them and it’s with that appreciation that I created The Bean’s Closet.

As an owner of a national baby furniture store, Bellini® Baby & Teen Furniture, I realize that when a woman enters the baby market for the first time she can be completely overwhelmed with choices and decisions. The Bean’s Close is designed to help moms learn about products that another mother (me) has found valuable. Ok, so I am not super mom. However, being at the forefront of the baby industry I have a certain advantage of having access to ALL things baby. When I was pregnant with Stella (a.k.a. - the bean) I had an abundant amount of products being thrown in my direction to try and test in hopes that I would sell them. Being very particular about my baby and products that I recommend to my clients I was very careful in my screening. When Stella arrived and I actually put some of these products to the test the true results were revealed and there were clear winners in every category.

In order to share this info with moms across the country I developed this site as a market place for buying very selective and high quality items...all of which are my ultimate favorites. From the socks that actually stay on their feet, to the most thorough baby books, we have favorites in every category. If it made it to The Bean's Closet, moms can feel confident that the product is a sure winner. Each and every product on the site has been hand chosen by me and a team of “mommy experts” (my very knowledgeable staff, my closest mommy confidants and of course feedback from my Bellini customers). We hope you’ll find our discoveries helpful, useful and overall adorable. Tell your friends to “get in the know, before they go” by becoming up on all the latest trends in everything baby… without having to give it much thought at all!
