Mommy jewelry is one type of present for a mother to be. Mommy jewelry can be given as a separate present to an expecting mother or as a baby shower gift as mommy-to-be jewelry. Selections of mommy jewelry include both sterling silver and gold mommy jewelry, with customization options including birth stones and pictures. Mommy jewelry is available typically as necklaces and bracelets. For these types of mommy jewelry, if she is expecting a new baby and it's her first child, the name of the baby, or its initials, are printed on the necklace pendant or bracelet beads. If she is expecting a new baby and has one or more children already, the name of the new baby and the names of the current children are all added to the mommy jewelry. For the latter, pictures of the children can be added like a photograph in a locket or can be imaged onto the metal.
