MEET MICHELLE

Michelle Freedberg, the founder of The Bean’s Closet and of Bellini Baby & Teen Furniture of Stamford, has been at the forefront of the baby industry for almost 10 years. Her experience in this marketplace includes extensive nursery design, product development, in addition to being the head buyer for fashion and gear for her Bellini boutique and website. Michelle prides herself on bringing fresh new styles and looks to her clientele, while also instilling classic and timeless design ideals to each room she helps to create. Working hands on with hundreds of clients in Manhattan, Scarsdale and CT, has given Michelle valuable insight into what the new mother is in search of. She developed The Bean’s Closet with the goal of creating an online marketplace for parents-to-be and new parents to be able to shop from the comfort of home while still being able to have access to the items offered at their favorite local boutique. From fashion to room decor, Michelle has researched all the merchadnise featured on the site with utmost attention to every detail.

The Freedberg family co-founded Bellini over 20 years ago and has been leaders in the baby business ever since. Celebrities, and high-profile figures have long been fans of Bellini products, positioning the company as a trendsetter in the baby industry for over two decades. The Bean’s Closet is fashioned around many of the principles that Bellini has always offered their clients, high quality items with personal service. Michelle prides herself on the trust that her clients have always put in her, and she is thrilled about offering that trust to the online community as well.

Michelle, 31, is the mother of Stella (AKA-the bean) who turned two February 1st. She lives with her husband, Craig, her daughter and their Soft Coated Wheaton, Eloise in Upper Saddle River NJ.
